Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains how Family Pitch handles information when you visit our website, create an account, play games, contact us, or purchase a Family Pass.

Information you provide

When you create an account, we receive account information such as your name and email address. Your profile may include a nickname, avatar color, and bio. We also process the table names, game activity, scores, statistics, game history, and messages you share while using Family Pitch.

If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message so we can respond. Please do not include payment card details or other sensitive information in your profile, chat, or support messages.

How we use information

We use information to sign you in, display your profile, connect players at a table, run games, save results, enforce game and membership limits, provide support, and manage Family Pass access. Usage information also helps us understand how the service is used, troubleshoot problems, protect accounts, and measure advertising results.

Payments

Stripe processes Family Pass payments. Payment details you enter at checkout are handled by Stripe. Family Pitch keeps payment and subscription records, including account and transaction identifiers, amounts, currency, payment status, and subscription status, to verify access and manage billing. Our app does not store your full payment card number. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy for its practices.

Cookies, local storage, and analytics

Family Pitch and its providers use browser storage and similar technologies for sign-in, app operation, and usage measurement. Technical information may include IP address, browser and device information, session identifiers, pages visited, and interactions with the app.

We use Base44 for app services and analytics, and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure actions such as sign-ups and verified purchases. Google may receive browser or device identifiers, interaction information, and purchase conversion details such as transaction identifier, value, and currency. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy.

You can manage cookies and clear stored data through your browser settings, and manage Google advertising preferences through My Ad Center. Blocking storage may affect sign-in and other app features.

Player notifications

When you enable player notifications, Family Pitch stores turn alerts and game invitations for your account, including the table, message, and expiration time. Sending a player invitation uses the recipient’s account email to find their account; it does not send an email. You can manage turn and invitation preferences in Your profile. Optional browser alerts require your permission and work while the app remains open; their text may be visible to anyone using your device. Expired and superseded alerts are removed from the active notification list.

Who can receive information

Other players at your table can see the player identity you use, your game activity, and messages you share with them. Shared game results include player names and scores. Only share table invitations with people you intend to invite.

Service providers process information needed to operate Family Pitch: Base44 provides hosting, authentication, data storage, and app services; Stripe handles payments; and Google receives advertising measurement information. If you choose a third-party sign-in option, that provider also processes information under its own policy. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to address fraud, security issues, or protect legal rights.

Retention and account deletion

Account and game information is retained to provide your profile, game history, and membership services. Retention varies by the type of information and the operational, accounting, security, or legal needs involved; there is not one fixed retention period for all records.

You can request account deletion using Your profile. The deletion flow removes your account and profile and replaces your identity in shared game results with “Deleted player.” Shared results can remain for other players, and payment records are retained for accounting. Deleting your account stops future monthly renewals but does not issue a refund. Contact us about other information you have submitted, including support messages.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can edit your profile and manage your Family Pass in the app. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your information, or restrictions on certain processing. Use our Contact page to make a privacy request or raise a concern. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Security and international processing

Information is handled through our app service providers and access controls. No online service or method of storage is completely secure. Providers may process information outside your country, where data protection laws may differ.

Children’s privacy

Please avoid sharing personal information about children in profiles, table names, or chat. If you believe a child has provided personal information that should not be stored by Family Pitch, contact us so we can review the concern and take appropriate action.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Family Pitch or its privacy practices change. The date above shows the latest update. For questions about this policy or how your information is handled, reach us through the Family Pitch Contact page.
